Can they spend it over more than one order?
Yes. Whatever's left stays on the code until it runs out, and we email the balance after each order.
How long does it last?
12 months from the day they receive it: the day we email it, or the day they first open it or use it. The code works from the moment you buy it, and the exact date is in every email about it.
What can they spend it on?
Anything we make: a stub of their match, a framed print, a keepsake or a set.
Can they use it outside the UK?
Yes. The voucher pays for what they choose, and postage outside the UK is paid by card at checkout, at what Royal Mail charges us.
What if they lose the code?
Reply to your receipt, or email hello@matchdaystubs.co.uk, and we'll send it again.
Which charity gets a share?
They choose, from our charity partners, when they spend it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of buying it, as long as none of it has been spent: all of it if the voucher stub hasn't been posted yet, or the voucher amount if it has.

Matchday Stubs gift vouchers
- What it is. A Matchday Stubs gift voucher holds a monetary value, or the items it includes. It can be spent on anything sold at matchdaystubs.co.uk: a stub, a framed print, a keepsake or a set.
- How long it lasts. The code works from the moment it is bought. It lasts 12 months, starting once, on the first of: the send date the buyer picked, the recipient first opening it (scanning the QR code, or opening their gift from the code on our gift page), or its first use. Checking the balance doesn't start it. If none of those has happened within 3 months of purchase, the 12 months start then. They never restart. The end date is in every email about the voucher. After it, anything left can no longer be used; orders placed by the end of that date count.
- The balance stays on the code. It can be spent over more than one order until it's used up. After each order, we email the balance to the address given at that checkout. A voucher for items is used in one order.
- Checking the balance or the items it includes. Use "Check your voucher" on the gift vouchers page, open the link in the gift email or scan the QR code on a voucher stub, or enter the code at checkout.
- Discount codes. No discount code can be used to buy a voucher or a voucher stub. When spending a voucher, any discount code that works on a normal order can be used too. Offers and the discount code come off first; the voucher pays what's left, and anything over is paid by card. Card payments have a minimum, so if the voucher would leave less than that for the card, the voucher pays a little less and the difference stays on it. A voucher for items pays for the items it includes; the discount code and the card cover the rest.
- Delivery. Orders paid with a voucher are delivered the same way as any order. Outside the UK, the voucher pays for the items, and postage is paid by card at checkout, at what Royal Mail charges us.
- Refunds. The buyer can cancel a voucher within 14 days of buying it, as long as none of it has been spent. If the voucher stub hasn't been posted, we refund everything; once it has been posted, we refund the voucher amount only. The code then stops working. After 14 days, or once any of it has been spent, it can't be refunded or exchanged for cash.
- If an order paid by voucher is refunded (for example, if we got it wrong), the voucher part goes back onto the code.
- Keep the code safe. Anyone with the code can spend it. If it's lost, email hello@matchdaystubs.co.uk and we'll send it again to the address it was sent to. We can't replace a balance that someone else has spent.
- A voucher can't be used to buy another voucher.
- Charity. The person spending the voucher picks which of our charity partners gets a share of that order, counted when the order is dispatched, the same as any order. If a voucher runs out with money left on it, a share of what's left is split across our charity partners.
- Changes before it's sent. The buyer can change the recipient's email address or the send date by replying to their receipt before the gift email goes out.
- Who we are. Matchday Stubs, hello@matchdaystubs.co.uk. These terms don't affect your legal rights.
